J. C. Egnew
Mr. Egnew is currently the Chairman, President, and Chief Executive Officer of Outdoor Venture Corporation (Stearns, KY), a company he co-founded in 1972. Outdoor Venture is a key supplier of military tents to the U. S. Department of Defense and currently employs approximately 250 people in two plants in McCreary County, KY.

Mr. Egnew previously served as President and Business Manager of American Bag Corporation (Stearns, KY) and as Vice President of Manufacturing for Camel Manufacturing (Knoxville, TN). Mr. Egnew began his career as an engineer for NASA in Huntsville, Alabama.

Mr. Egnew is a former Chairman of the Industrial Fabrics Association International and a current Director of the Industrial Fabrics Foundation. He is Chairman of the Fund Raising Committee, McCreary Center Community College Expansion (Stearns, KY); a Director of the Bank of McCreary County (Whitley City, KY); President, McCreary County Education Foundation; and a Director of The Center For Rural Development (Somerset, KY).

Mr. Egnew is responsible for the startup of four manufacturing facilities and the creation of more than 1,000 jobs in McCreary County, KY and the surrounding area.

Mr. Egnew has a B.S. in mechanical engineering from the University of Evansville (Indiana) and an M.S. in industrial management from the University of Tennessee.
